Recognized as Africa’s most influential investment coach, Dr. Stephen Akintayo is the Chairman
of SACI Holdings, a private equity investment firm with interests in artificial intelligence-driven
companies, scalable businesses, and emerging markets. He is also the Founder of Gtext Holdings,
a multinational conglomerate with subsidiaries including Gtext Homes, a real estate company
overseeing more than twenty plus combined multi-million-dollar domestic and commercial real
estate projects worldwide. The company has over twenty estates across West Africa, United Arab
Emirates, United Kingdom, and most recently the United States (with upcoming developments in
Southeast Texas – Greater Houston Area).
Additionally, Dr. Akintayo is the founder and president of the Stephen Akintayo Foundation, and
a member of the Forbes Business Council (recognized as winner of Forbes’ Best of Africa Leading
Investment Coach & Real Estate Mogul Award. Furthermore, Dr. Akintayo is the founder and
president of the Stephen Akintayo Foundation, an organization with a mission of raising over 1
million first-time millionaires by the year 2050, with 70% from African heritage (including Africans
descendants in the diaspora).
This philanthropic venture helped lead to the creation of Stephen Akintayo Online Wealth
University in 2020. The programs provide practical and in-depth training on real estate brokerage
and investment, e-commerce, digital marketing, cryptocurrency, forex trading, stocks and shares,
business structure and grants, talent monetization, and more.
Dr. Akintayo was born in the northeastern part of Nigeria (in Borno State) to a businessman father
and civil servant mother who raised him and his four other siblings with his mother’s meager
salary in a very impoverished environment. His father’s contract business had crumbled before
he was born. His passion for philanthropy was heavily inspired by his challenging upbringing.
In his own words, “My surname was poverty. Hunger was my biggest challenge. I had to scavenge
all through primary school to eat lunch, as I didn’t go to school with lunch packs. We were too
poor to afford that, but things got better in my secondary school days. Although, my mum would
go to her colleagues to borrow money to send me to school each term. It was humiliating when I
saw them looking at my mum with utter dismay as someone who keeps begging. It hurt dearly. I
hated poverty and I pray to help more families to come out of it.”
At 17, Dr. Akintayo read his first business book (“Rich Dad, Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki) which
changed the trajectory of his entire life ahead. At that same age, Dr. Akintayo started selling food
supplements by GNLD, introduced to him by his cousin. And his first online-based business was
selling E-books he bought for N3,000. He ventured into other businesses in the process. His main
drive to succeed was to compensate a very hardworking mother who denied herself everything
just to educate her 5 children.
Fast forward to present day, Dr. Akintayo has achieved numerous successes and milestones across
a variety of industries and specializations. He is a prolific author who has over forty five book titles
to his name, including the best-seller “Billionaire Habits” series, and the sequel which is the
“Billionaire Codes”, which has sold thousands of copies globally. Dr. Akintayo’s other books
include “Billionaire Habits for Pastors”, “Billionaire Habits for Entrepreneurs”, “Becoming a
Billionaire Land Banker”, “Survival Instincts”, “The Information Millionaire”, “Maximizing your
Real Estate Investment”, “Managing Family Finance”, amongst others.
Furthermore, Dr. Stephen is a multimedia personality across all platforms. His work includes
hosting the radio show titled CEO Mentorship with Stephen Akintayo. In 2020, he started the
revolutionary business focused TV show titled Investment Chat in a Rolls Royce with Dr. Stephen
Akintayo, which amplifies the perfect balance of luxury, entertainment and investment talks, was
presented in two phases (the Nigerian and Dubai editions). The Nigerian series has aired since
2020 on Channels TV, as well as on his social media platforms. Dr. Akintayo is also the creator and
host of the The Billionaire Habits Podcast, which brings successful entrepreneurs to discuss
overcoming the adversities of life, and how they legitimately found success, and to inspire and
educate the next generation on how to make it. The first edition was shot and produced in Dubai.
In February 2022, he started the shooting of his 3rd show, Big Talk with DSA – a politically focused
show focused on resetting the minds of young people, and empowering them with the vital
knowledge towards the birth of a new generation of leaders across the nation.
In 2021, Dr. Akintayo hosted the Global Property Brokers Conference, the largest Brokers
Conference in Africa. It is now renamed to the Global Property Festival with international business
moguls such as Grant Cardone, Ryan Serhant, and the number one coach in the world, John C.
Maxwell, as co-speakers.
In 2022, he organized the Global Wealth Festival & Leadership Conference in three locations
globally – Nigeria, London, and the United States. The first festival took place in Dallas,Texas in
July 2022 and featured world renowned business mogul Grant Cardone as the keynote speaker.
Beloved ex-Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo also served as keynote speaker during the
Dubai edition of the conference. Dr. Akintayo has had the honor of hosting several notable figures
at his events, virtual sessions and community initiatives – including famous author Robert
Kiyosaki, speakers Dr. Brian Tracy, and Dr. Les Brown.
He is convener of the Believers’ Wealth Conference and the Family Finance Conference which
teach the believers of the gospel of Christ, and respectively also teaches couples how to build
legitimate transgenerational wealth for themselves.
Dr. Akintayo’s mentorship platform has a wide reach as it caters for both personal and corporate
development. Dr Stephen strongly believes young Nigerians with a passion for entrepreneurship
can cause a business revolution in Nigeria and the world at large. He hosts an annual kick off
conference called the Upgrade Summit to prepare young people all over the world for the coming
year and how they can achieve giant strides in the year.
Dr. Stephen is a graduate of Olabisi Onabanjo University where he obtained a degree in
Microbiology, a member of the Institute of Strategic Management (ISMN), graduate of Harvard
University’s Executive Program, where he studied Essential Management Skills for Emerging
Leaders and Real Estate Investment respectively. In 2020, he was awarded a Doctor of Science,
D.Sc (Honoris Causa) in Real Estate Development & Corporate Leadership by the European
American University. He is also a trained coach by the Coaching Academy (United Kingdom). In
2022, Dr. Akintao was also awarded a Doctorate of Strategic Leadership and Management by the
Myles Leadership University, Cotonou, Benin.
In July 2023, he was conferred on the Forbes’ Best of Africa Leading Investment Coach and Real
Estate Global Award, by Forbes’ Best of Africa. He is a multiple award-winning fellowship recipient
from several organizations globally, including the Ten Outstanding Young Persons of the World
(ToyP) JCI Award 2015 from the Junior Chambers International Nigeria.
Dr. Akintayo resides between the United States (in Houston, Texas) and Nigeria, is happily married
to his wife of many years, and he is blessed with three children – two wonderful boys, and a lovely
girl.
